This has been around a while, so you may have already seen it. But it is glorious.

Top 25 Songs of 2008
It's been so long.
I had bigger plans for this list. Maybe a little bit of an explanation. But things have been so busy.
Here are some of my favorite songs of last year. Every November I like to reflect back on some of my favorite music. Granted, this past year wasn't the best year as far as new music goes, but it wasn't awful either. Here's my list:
25. "Chemtrails" – Beck
24. "This Is What" - Horse Feathers
23. "Testify" – Carney
22. "Pork and Beans" – Weezer
21. "Hideaway" – Weepies
20. "Head Rolls Off" - Frightened Rabbit
19. "Potholes" - Randy Newman
18. "Bye Bye Bye" - Plants and Animals
17. "Living Well Is The Best Revenge" - R.E.M.
16. "Acid Tongue" - Jenny Lewis
15. "Skeleton Bones" - John Mark McMillan
14. "As Tall As Cliffs" - Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos
13. "Your Love Is Strong" - Jon Foreman
12. "L.E.S. Artistes" - Santogold
11. "Lover's Day" - TV On The Radio
10. "Dinosaur on the Ark" - The Very Best
9. "Gobbledigook" - Sigur Ros
8. “Cath…” – Death Cab For Cutie
7. “Hurricane and Fire Survival Guides” – Cloud Cult
6. “Cape Canaveral” – Conor Oberst
5. Streets On Fire" - Lupe Fiasco
4. "Carolina Drama" - The Raconteurs
3. "Beat (Health, Life, and Fire)" - Thao
2. "Hymn #101" - Joe Pug
1. "Skinny Love" - Bon Iver
Let me know what you think!
I'll try to be a little bit more "post-ful" soon.

Mouse at the Oscars
So myself, Beth, and Josh and Megan (the very same Karls from last post) decided to hunker down in a room and watch the Oscars.
We've been told that there are many a' mice roaming the countryside, and during the ceremonies were interrupted by a silhouette near the television.

Movie of the Year
Sorry it's been so long. Things have been nuts here.
If the choice is between Slumdog Millionaire and He's Just Not That Into You, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE choose Slumdog Millionaire. I feel kind of bad saying this since I haven't seen any other film that's nominated for picture (but have a pretty big desire to see all of them), but I think this one should win it. Period. This movie is beyond incredible, and encapsulates my ultimate desires when it comes to filmmaking.
